PART II - OPERATION

SECTION 9- OIL PRESSURE

Oil pressure should register immediately after starting. If there is no indication on the oil pressure gauge after 30 seconds, stop the engine and check up the oil supply and feed lines. Do not continue running the engine unless oil pressure is obtained. The normal operating oil pressure is 15-20 lbs for the E-113 and E-113A, 9-13 lbs for E-113B, 55-60 lbs for E-113C, and 8-10 lbs for the E-107A. It may be slightly more during cold weather; however, it should not all more than 20% or the minimum values given above; i.e., 12, 7, 44, and 6 lbs respectively.

The normal oil pressure on the AERONCA E-113B and all 1934 AERONCA E-113A engines with Cuno oil filters is 9-13 lbs.
