AERONCA Memo M-26

11-8-37 M-26
MEMORANDUM TO OWNERS OF AERONCA MODEL K
SUBJECT: CABIN HEATER
In order to avoid any possibility of fouling between the hot air outlet

of the cabin heater and the control column on the subject model airplanes

it has been found advisable to shorten the outlet tube.

To shorten the tube remove the engine cowling and loosen the clamps

which hold the hot air tube to the heater and the firewall. Move

the tube forward so that not more than four (4) inches extend into the

cabin to the rear of the firewall. The firewall clamp can then be

tightened. The forward end of the tube can then be cut off to the

proper length and clamped in the heater after the cowling has been

replaced.
