MEMORANDUM TO OWNERS OF AERONCA MODEL "K" TWO PLACE HIGH-WING MONOPLANE
    ITEM I - LANDNG GEAR
The torsion linkage (Nut Cracker) at the bottom of the landing gear oleo on
the subject model airplane has cracked at the ends of the welded seams on
several airplanes.
To prevent this cracking the linkage on later models has been welded on the
inside of the female ends for a distance of approximately 3/4 inch.
We recommend that the torsion linkage on your airplane be inspected for
cracks and if not welded on the inside of the flanges to have it welded as
soon as possible.
